He grew up on bluesy rock (Aerosmith, Allman Bros., Joe Walsh, etc.) before hitting the club scene in the chicago area at the age of 15: "I was lucky enough to play with some amazing musicians and it just got better from there." Paul moved to Los Angeles at 18. After getting to LA, he played / wrote / recorded with several bands as a "hired gun" doing everything from metal to dance to top 40.
